Sasha Pieterse

Sasha: (On her favorite part of filming Pretty Little Liars) I loved Vancouver, that's where we filmed the pilot. We were there in November and it was about 7 degree weather, which is horrible. We were in bathing suit scenes, and outside. Troian and I had a scene together, and we had a scene where we were outside on a summer day, but really it was -7 degree weather, there was snow falling in our hair that we were trying not to let the camera see. It was crazy. What's good about all of us is we have a great work ethic, so we work really well together. The crew is great. Down here in California where we film, it's good weather. We all get along really well, and it's a good group that we have.

Sasha: (On playing the mean girl in Pretty Little Liars)She's my guilty pleasure. You always think, 'I don't want to play the mean girl, I want to be the nice girl'. But playing the mean girl is so much fun. Obviously, I'm not that way in real life. She's just really cruel and especially if you know people like her, it's fun to put yourself in those shoes. It's really funny.

Sasha: (On if she read the books Pretty Little Liars is based on before landing her role) I'd heard about them every now and then, and when I got the call for the audition, I was like 'this is interesting'. So I read up on it a little bit and by the time I was doing the pilot, I had read the first book. I was going to wait until I was filming the series to read the other books and I just couldn't do it. I couldn't put them down. They're very intriguing and they keep you glued to the book.
