Selena: (on rumors about a possible marriage to Justin Bieber) Marriage and all that other stuff I think will happen once I feel accomplished in every other aspect of my life.
Selena: (On recording a duet with vocals of the late Selena) I was completely honored when they asked me to be on the tribute CD and when I went into the studio to record they actually had her vocals in the booth that she was in, so I felt like she was singing right next to me. It gave me chills! It was incredible and it was a great experience and it was a great song.
Selena: (on her relationship with Justin Bieber) I'm just like every 19 year old girl. If you're in love, you're in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out, and be as normal as possible. I'm fortunate that I've found someone who has that philosophy.
Selena: (about appearing on "Barney and Friends" as a child) I learned everything from that show, so it's just a wonderful memory to me. A lot of people would be embarrassed to admit that they were on Barney, but I embrace the fact. I just had such a wonderful time doing that show...I learned what a camera and prop is, and all that. I learned my manners too, so I guess that's a good thing!
Selena: I think this [Wizards of Waverly Place] will be the last series that I do. I'm going to try to pull a Natalie Portman. Natalie went to Harvard while shooting Star Wars. I don't know how she did it. I want to have lunch with her and ask her- that seems like a bunch of stress right there.
Selena: (On how she deals with false celebrity gossip reports) Everywhere you go you hear things that are untrue. You've just got to learn that if I don't say it, physically out of my mouth, on camera, it's not true.
Selena: (When asked if it was difficult being a Hispanic actress) It got me where I am today! I don't know if I would've had the opportunity to be on Wizards of Waverly Place if it weren't for my heritage. I realize everybody wants what they don't have. But at the end of the day, what you have inside is much more beautiful than what's on the outside!
Selena: (on her purity ring) I've had my ring since I was 12 years old. But for me it's not something I want to go around saying, "Hey, look what I have". It's a promise I made to myself and God. I think some people misinterpret that as a trend and think everyone's getting one.
Selena: My perfect guy wears converse, is totally laid back, and doesn't worry about being cool.
Selena: (On her career path and business choices) Disney is a machine, so people automatically assume that you can't work for the channel unless youact and sing and dance and sign up for all that. That's absolutely not true. I always did everything the way I wanted to do it. I decided to make music when I was ready. My fashion line was next, and I found who I wanted to partner with. Oh my gosh, the deals that were offered to me...like, my face on a shirt. That's not at all what I want.
Selena: (on played the Mayor's daughters in "Horton Hears a Who") I had never done animation, so I thought it would be cool to try something different.
Selena: (about the acting business) It's not as glamorous as it looks. I don't do it for the glamour. I really do it because I love acting. We deal with things at work and we get in trouble every now and then when we have to focus.
Selena: I don't really like dressing up. Some people probably think actresses dress up everywhere they go. I'm in sweatpants half the time with my hair in a ponytail.
Selena: The day I got my first letter from a fan, I felt like I'd been touched by an angel. I opened the note and read every single word the fan, Taylor, had to say. She told me she'd been to all of the tapings Wizards--it was unbelievable! I almost cried. I wrote her back this really long letter with an autograph to show her how sweet I thought she was.
