    Shannon: (On his single, "In Pieces") This song is such a strong ballad and has a personal message for me. It is a song which I wrote when I was 17. I think many people will be able to relate to the message in it.

    Shannon: (on his late father) He would have wanted me to be a good father, loving husband, responsible and just a good human in general. I am always striving to be that person and I think I am doing an okay job. It comes with age and experience, I think.

    Shannon: (when pointed out that rain is mentioned in a lot of his songs) No affinity with rain, just that there was none of it half the time that I was growing up. Condo was always dry.
