Shawn Pyfrom

Shawn is a great actor. He's only 18 and has had outstanding perfomances. He playes Andrew van de Kamp on the hit series Desperate Housewifes from NBC. He plays the son of Bree van de Kamp, who's addicted to perfection. He plays it great. He's now working on the movie "The shaggy Dog", starring Tim Allen, Kristin Davis and Shawn. The movie's due 2006.

He's not so big though, only 5' 7" (1.70 m). He says that his favourite book is 'The dairy of Anne Frank'. His future plans are to go to college to become an entertainment lawyer.

Shawn Pyfrom at such a young age has achieved so much. And yet he still has his whole life ahead of him to go further.

From what I've seen of him, Shawn is able to adapt to different roles and characters well. Something many older actors still struggle to do. Shawn is currently working on two films, "The Shaggy Dog" and "The Dark Room", both of which should make for an interesting watch.

I believe that one of his highlights would have to be his recent work on “Desperate Housewives” where he plays the role of Andrew Van De Kamp. Andrew is an out of control teenager with a lot of attitude who is trying to understand himself. We discover through the show that Andrew is bisexual, he smokes Marijuana, gets sent to Juvenile Detention, and has to deal with family issues and death. All of this helps bring the character alive and gives him depth. Many of these elements would be hard for any actor to present and portray well.

I hope to see Shawn more in the future as he is a truly talented young actor.

Shawn Pyfrom, is one of my favorites actors, now on TV. I think, he is playing a great character is Desperate housewives. He is capable of play every kind of guys, and I thinks he can get great jobs thanks to this character and to this opportunity that this show is giving him. I hope he continues with this character for so long, and I hope he can plays some more movies to see him in the big screen, and who knows may be in another show as guest.
