    He penned some of TV's classics--I dream of Jeannie etc... 

    He died of Pneumonia at the age of 89.

    Also wrote the very excellent "The Bachelor And The Bobby-Soxer" which starred Cary Grant, Myrna Loy, and Shirley Temple, and lots of other good movie scripts. A real gem, will be missed, especially with this wretched new IDOJ movie they are talking about doing.
