Maddy's life is in danger after she learns a secret about one of Terra Nova's top scientists. Josh makes a deal to bring Kira back from 2149, which could be trouble for the colony.

All of Terra Nova's technology is wiped out after a meteor crashes. Maddy and Reynolds get stuck outside the walls. Skye and Elisabeth team up to save someone's life. Mira and the Sixers try to attack and Taylor must stop them.

Terra Nova has its first murder, and Jim and Taylor must determine who is guilty of the crime. Meanwhile, Skye continues to help Josh figure out how to get Kira to Terra Nova from 2149. Elisabeth is determined to save an unborn Ankylosaurus after Zoe sees the egg in the hospital and asks if she is going to help it.

When an orphaned Sixer runs away and shows up at Terra Nova looking for help, Shannon and Taylor disagree about whether she can be trusted. Taylor suspects that someone in the camp is a traitor. Meanwhile, Reynolds admits he has feelings for Maddy.

To prevent Terra Nova from being infected, Elisabeth, Jim, Malcolm and Taylor must work together to find a cure when they discover a mysterious virus is causing memory loss, paranoia and death at a nearby outpost. Skye and Josh once again go outside the walls of Terra Nova and run into trouble.

In the second part of the two-part series premiere, the Shannons are trying to get used to their new lives in Terra Nova. Josh and some friends run into trouble when they sneak out of the compound. Jim, Elisabeth and Taylor go out looking for them.
