    October Road is Slade's big break for tv and I think he is doing a wonderful job. He has become "Sam" and you can tell that he wants his mother, Hannah, to get back together with Nick. You can see how he feels through his eyes. Last week when he saw Nick kissing Aubrey, you could see it in his eyes that he was upset. He has giving the character of Sam a cute wit and quality about him that makes you like him. Most tv kid stars don't have much talent and aren't used much in shows but Slade does a wonderful job portraying his character.
