Sofia Vergara: It's a pain in the ass because I'm Columbian. When I travel abroad, because I'm Columbian, I'm always one that they check twice and security and I'm the one that they open my bag and the one they pull to the side to check the visa.
Sofia Vergara: It has to be a very specific role for me because of my accent. I can't complain; I've been working since I got to LA. But it is hard. I have no training as an actress so I try whatever I do like school, because I'm learning.
Sofia Vergara: (on filming in Toronto for "Four Brothers") Horrible. It was the worst year. My first scene, I'm running in my underwear in minus 20 degrees, I was like, "I want to go home."
Sofia Vergara: (on being a Latina actress in Hollywood) You have to be on top of it all the time, trying to get good scripts. Just be there, be there, be there, there's nothing else you can do but try to create. It's the only way.
Sofia Vergara: (on growing up in Colombia) It's great. It's an amazing place. Unfortunately, we've had a lot of bad press, but, you know, like every country it's not perfect. But it was wonderful growing up over there. We have big families, have beautiful cities, beautiful beaches. I wouldn't change it for the world.
Sofía Vergara: (on planning to make a movie) I would like to make another movie with [director] Barry Sonnenfeld, he's so nice! I really enjoyed this, especially for my first time. It was not too much responsibility, and I'm in a few short scenes, so it was great. And I love that I'm not dressed sexy.
Sofía Vergara: If you're asking if my breasts are natural, yes, this is how I've looked since I was 13 years old.
