Stacey, born and raised in Dallas, Texas, attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in the UK and graduated with a degree in film from USC.

Her film credits include, Cindy in The Great Buck Howard, Amanda Bynes mother in "Easy A", Geoffrey Rush's wife Bonnie in the Coen Brother's film Intolerable Cruelty, Dana in 'Ghostworld', Barry Levinson's film 'Bandits' and Steve Soderberg's Oscar winning film 'Traffic'. Traffic was the recipient of SAG Award for "Outstanding Performance by a Cast".

She has done recent dramatic turns on television in 'Life',



… More 'Private Practice' and 'The Riches'. Her comedic performances include 'Men of a Certain Age', 'Desperate Housewives' and 'Entourage' to name a few.

Stacey is a founding member of The Echo Theatre Company. With the theatre group Huggermugger, she played Countess Orsini in Lessing's ' Emilla Galotti' and in Victorien Sardou's 'A Scrap of Paper'.

Her brother Greg Travis is an actor and comedian who also resides in Los Angeles.

    Just saw DVD release of Hardware, Stacey stars and is amazing. She has done a ton of credits, beyond Life, she is on Desperate Housewives, The Riches (she was awesome on that) and other movies. hide show

    She rocked in Life, and looked like she did her own stunts. We need to see more of this sexy actress who can actually act!!! Catch her in The Riches, she becomes a white trash hottie with a gun! She has done movies for years, and still look s great. I'd love to see her in a starring role on a series, the girl can carry comedy and drama equally adeptly, and that is rare in this business (like any woman on CSI could deliver a comedic line with timing!) I looked into Stacey's IMDB and she was a Seinfeld girlfriend! I mean, how do you beat that, but there's nothing on her on TV.com. I will try to add her bio, which is impressive.
