    • Stefan: (on his "Neighbours" character, Paul Robinson, turning 'good' after being evil for so long) Playing evil Paul was great. He was such a good character to play and it was such fun. I got to kiss so many good-looking women! There's something about an evil one-legged man - he's obviously very attractive to the ladies! But when they said they wanted to stop making Paul so evil, I understood completely. Let's face it: It was all becoming a bit Dallas. As an actor, I preferred playing evil Paul but, at the end of the day, I have to do what's put in front of me.
    • Stefan: (on how they chose the name Declan for their son) We wanted a Celtic name because my wife is Scottish and my first son is named Cameron, which is a Scottish name. But the ones that we wanted were either too common or we went against. Declan, which we always liked, just happened to be Irish.
    • Stefan: (on keeping in contact with "Neighbours" cast from the early days) Alan's (Alan Dale) still one of my best mates - I speak to him regularly and visit when I can, and vice versa. Kylie (Minogue) I haven't seen for a couple of years, but we're certainly friends. When we do see each other, it's like, 'Hey, how you doin'?'
    • Stefan: (when asked if it's hard to pretend to have a fake leg on "Neighbours") It's so easy to forget. I've actually got a little trick. What I do is curl my toes up and that does two things - it reminds me to limp, and it fills the shoe out as if there was a fake foot in there.
    • Stefan: (when asked what his favourite storyline on "Neighbours" has been) Losing a leg was a bit of fun. Hooking up with Izzy (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) was a bit of fun. I can echo the same sentiment with Fiona Corke (who played Paul's 2nd wife Gail). I used to have great fun with Fi. She's one of my all-tome favourite actresses I've worked with.
    • Stefan: (when asked if people confuse him with his mean character on Neighbours in real life) Everybody says that. It's actually a great compliment. And when people are actually frightened of me in real life, it's a fantastic compliment.
    • Stefan: (on what it was like returning to "Neighbours" after being away for so long) It was weird at first. Even though I knew most of the crew and production staff, of the cast I only knew Fletch (Alan Fletcher), Smitty (Ian Smith) and Tom (Oliver). I was the old face to them, but I was the new kid on the block because I didn't know anybody else. But it was good fun learning to work with people and getting to know them.
