Stephen was part of the Spartacus Loop Group (2012).

In September of 2008 Stephen performed the children's radio play Firewood for Radio New Zealand National's "Storytime Treasure Chest" program.

Being a part of the play The Hunchback of Notre Dame was quite a challenge for Stephen and his fellow castmates, because they didn't have a script, they just workshopped and the play grew organically out of their interaction.
Stephen has made a number of radio commercials for local New Zealand businesses, such as Jim's Gym, Clear Air Dry Home Air Systems, and Dairy Bar. He's also done television commercials for Boise (2002, NZ), Telecom Xtra (2004, NZ), Sky Television (2004-07, NZ),Sky City (2006, NZ), BUPA Insurance (2009, Australia), Jamesons (2009, USA), TelstraClear (2010, NZ), and Sky TV (2012, NZ).
