Sting was briefly a member of Ric Flair's "Four Horsemen" but was kicked out after demanded a title shot from Flair.

Wrestlers are always feuding with one another. One of the most notorious feuds for Sting was with Ric Flair. It began after Sting and Flair wrestled to a draw at the 1988 Clash of the Champions. Neither wrestler won, they ran over the time limit allowed for the match and the referee called it.

Sting has two sons, Garrett and Steven, and a daughter, Gracie.

In 1988 Sting was voted Most Improved Wrestler in the magazine "Pro Wrestling Illustrated".

Sting was a member of the nWo Wolfpac. When he joined the Wolfpac he changed his signature makeup colors of black and white to red and black.

Borden and Jim Hellwig (later known as the Ultimate Warrior) formed a tag team known as the Blade Runners in 1986.

Sting held the WCW World Tag Team Championship 3 times, once with Lex Luger in 1996, once with The Giant in 1998, and once with Kevin Nash also in 1998.

Eric Bischoff has originally planned for Sting to be the 3rd member of the New World Order (NWO) until Hulk Hogan suggested himself right before Bash at the Beach 1996.

He made his debut as a wrestler on November 28, 1985 as Flash Borden.

At TNA Bound for Glory 2006, Sting won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship by making Jeff Jarret submit with a Scorpion Deathlock.

The face paint he started wearing during the late 90s was a inspired by "The Crow." During that time, he started carrying his signature foreign object: a baseball bat.

After TNA Bound for Glory, he's held 11 World Heavyweight Championships from several promotions including Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling.

As of 2006 he is wrestling for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, an alternative promotion to WWE.

After his victory at TNA's Bound for Glory, he became the oldest wrestler to hold the NWA Championship.
