Steve's character (Rocky DeSantos) was the only person to not be included in the Power Rangers: Wild Force episode "Forever Red". He was asked to be the Red Ninja Ranger that he portrayed in the third season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers but declined due to having personal business in Philadelphia. He left the show willingly shortly after Power Rangers: Turbo started due to his disgust at the unbalanced pay scales the various actors were getting. It is assumed but not proven that his resentment over the situation is the real reason he decided not to return for "Forever Red".
