His temper tantrums about love, business, and life is sooooo over the top, he makes me laugh till my stomach churns. A great comedian to watch. He's random, and a lady chaser. What a unique act.

Even thou I am not a fan of the show, nor do I understand why we needed a show like this. I have to hand it to Steve Carell you pulled it off! What I really am trying to say is that the show isn't a complete disaster thanks to you. You pulled off exactly "the dull and unsecure yet I act like everybody loves me kind of boss" perfectly. With that you brought the comedy part to the show, well at least 75% of what it offers. The actors on the show also do a great job but being honest, if it wasn't for you this show would have been cancelled a long time ago (I would actually doubt if it would be on the air). I have nothing against the very talented actors but it's just a very bad show.

  • The funniest!

…And here we introduce you the America's funniest man! With his appearance on the cover of Life, he got the deserved label. The thing is you would not think, when you see him, with that calm demeanor, that he can be such a great source of laughter. But he is a great example of "less is more", and I guess that made me one of his fans. His part in "40 Year-Old Virgin" just announced what was about to happen. It seemed that Steve's experience of working as a correspondent for the Jon Stewart Daily Show finally paid off. And big, as after his winning at the Golden Globe for "The Office" made of Steve Carell one of the most sought after actors to be distributed in new movies.
  • Superb actor all - around.

Steve Carrell has left his mark on movie comedies, drama and gross - outs as well as the obnoxious but lovable Michael Scott on The Office but the way he owns any chracter he plays makes him one of the most versatile actors today. What's brilliant about him is, as an actor he can be very broad but subtle as the same time which comes up a lot in The Office and can be very strong yet subdued also. Aside from the goofy, loser character; he pulled on the heartstrings in "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Dan in real life" but in "Bruce Almighty", he played what was meant to be a villain but just didn't stick with an actor like him. Steve Carrell is a very talented and magnetic actor, can't wait for Get Smart!

Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is the Regional Manager of Dunder-Mifflin Scranton, the oddball paper selling company from Scranton, RI. You have never seen an office quite like this. Michael is never keeping order, but instead, throwing wacky parties, inviting random high school buddies over to the office, and even dating and doing some OTHER things with the State Manager, Jan ?. Probably my favorite thing that he does is when he says "Just shut up Toby." Hilarious!! He couldn't be more funny in this show. Also, I have no idea how he can stay so serious through all the zany things he does. Sure he always has that little smirk on his face but how can you blame him. You would probably laughin out loud for all I care. All I'm saying is that you NEED to watch this show because if you dont you have no idea what your missing.

The man knows how to entertain. Steve Carell has a talent for entertainment and a gift for comedy. He knows how to captivate an audience, keep them on the edge of their seats and leave them in stitches wanting more. His facial expressions combined with his wacky body language make for an excellent recipe for tv and movie viewing. Better known for his role in "The Office" and more recently as 'Evan Baxter' in "Evan Almighty", the sequel to the Jim Carey movie "Bruce Almighty". His latest movie "Get Smart" with Anne Hathaway is perfect for him and his zany character and is likely to make a lot of money at box offices worldwide.
  • Hahaha, I don't know where to begin. He is the funniest actor EVA! Seriously, the people who get to meet him or act with him are lucky. I really want to meet him. He is the greatest comediac guy eva! Whoo hoo go steve. And he was funny on E.A. Bye.

Well, the first time I heard of him, was when he first acted in the movie A 40 yr old virgin. I found that movie horrible, because it was BORING AS HELL. So was the office or something like that. Oh wait he was a bit funny in the tv show, The office, but it was that funny. Then when I saw behind the scenes of Evan Almighty I was cackling myself, of how funny he was and fun to work with lol. I also wanna learn that dance he does in the movie. It's heaps funny. Keep up the-good-work.
  • Great comedic actor.

I've never really fussed over Steve Carell, but after watching The Office I have come to realize how talented he really is. His acting is hilarious and he just seems to be getting better. He really has a way about the jokes that he pulls off and the character he plays in the Office.

Although his character Michael on The Office is not meant to be a very likable character, there is still a part of me that feels sympathy towards him because of Steve's great acting. He really brings a sense of realism to the character of Michael which is what makes him such a great actor.

Although he is sometimes over the top, in the end he is a great actor. His work on the Office is hilarious and I hope it continues to be.

  • Steve Carell is one of the greatest comedic actors of our time.

Steve Carell, of television’s The Office and the new movie Evan Almighty, is a truly gifted actor. He has helped to make The Office not only a hit comedic show and Emmy nominee, but also my personal favorite show. He truly captures the imperfections of his character Michael Scott, and keeps viewers tuning in week after week. He never fails to make me laugh. Steve also had a brilliant supporting role in the 2004 movie Anchorman as the clueless and dimwitted Brick Tamland. For most hilarious actors, however, they are only good at making people laugh; Steve, however, has shown that he is truly multifaceted with his captivating performance in the Sundance indie and critic’s darling Little Miss Sunshine. In it, he plays a suicidal and homosexual uncle of Olive, a little girl who dreams of competing in and winning the Little Miss Sunshine pageant in Redondo Beach, California. His compelling performance elicited not only laughs, but deep thought from the audience; this performance proved that Carell can also do dramatic acting just as well as he does comedic. His performances stay in your mind long after you leave the theater or watch him on TV; he has proven to be not only a great television actor, but also one that can handle big movies, such as Evan Almighty, Little Miss Sunshine. The Forty-Year Old Virgin, or Anchorman; he is also not just an actor of comedy, but one of drama as well. I look forward to seeing Steve on the big screen in Get Smart, his latest movie, and in The Office, premiering September 27th on NBC. This man’s acting will surely stand the test of time.

this man is so funny he should come with a warning label. every movie (and even the office) he manages to do at least one thing that makes you laugh out loud and not just giggle or smile- which everyone can do.

He is hilarious he really is he started in minor roles in frat pack movies to go on to be a big star!! He was funny in shows that weren't good but he made them better! His best roles are in the 40 year old virgin and the office! I am looking foward to evan almighty it looks great plus it has laura ghraham (sorry dont know the spelling). He still is in the office even though he is a a-lister that makes you good in my book i mean even if its a popular show Ben Stiller won't be on it when he gets really famous!people will critsize him for being loyal like they did with ashton.

Steve is by far one of the best actors on American tv. He is funny, smart, and a very good actor, he can really get into what he's playing, like micheal scott on the office, he really plays that character well, and makes the whole show worth watching. I saw little miss sunshine to, and that is one on my favortie movies ever. It's so funny! Anyone who hasent seen it has to. I want to see more of Steve on tv, I would like to see him on Oprah too, that would be really awsome, haha. If the office ever get's cancelled, i hope that he finds a really great role to play in next.

    Andy Stitzer in

    The 40-Year Old Virgin

Steve played a guy with almost no talent in girls. It is a funny movie but inappropriate

    Michael Scott in

The Office Michael thinks of himself as a combination of office comedian and business sage. His attempts at humor reflect his desperate wish to be liked, but they prove unfunny at best and are often inappropriate or even offensive. Much of the humor of his character derives from his lack of self-awareness, which is highlighted by the awkward situations he creates for himself and his pathetic inability to extricate himself from them. Although he misinterprets the context of nearly every situation and can be unwittingly mean, Michael is quite lonely. Ironically, his incompetence in social interactions at the office contrasts sharply with his virtuoso talent as a salesman.

    Brick Tamland in Anchorman

he changes his voice and is crazy!!!

    Frank Ginsburg in

    Little Miss Sunshine

he plays an ex teacher who just got out of the hospital and embarks on a wild family vacation Evan Baxter in

    Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty

    crazy and funny

also he is the voice of Hammy the squrriel

that is a great voice and he palys a psyco hyper active squrriel

Steve Carell is a brilliant comedian who has contributed great comic performances in nearly every show or movie he has been in. He started out as a hilarious reporter on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and has had roles in movies such as The 40 Year Old Virgin, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and Bruce Almighty. After these stints, Carell landed the lead role on the Office, an adaptation of the British version with the same title. He is known most for playing hilarious "dorks". Just recently, The Office won an Emmy award, largely due to his outstanding performance, along with co-stars Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski and others. He has a role in the upcoming sequel to Bruce Almighty, Evan Almighty. With no doubt, Carell will continue to shine for years on both the small and big screens.
  • Steve Carrell has been on fire lately, he is one of the funniest men in america.

From his early beginning on the daily show, Steve Carrell always had a flair for making people laugh. He was a standout there so the next thing was to go for a movie career. He was hilarious in "Anchorman", where he played a mildly retarded weatherman. His big role was the '40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN", where he stole the show as one of the biggest losers on the planet. I didn't think that the office would be as good as it was. I didn't catch the series over-seas and can't compare Ricky Gervis to Carrell, but Carrell certainly holds his own.

Steve Carrell is very, very funny. If you haven't watch any of his work, you don't know what you are missing, you definitely have to love him in movies like "Bruce Almighty" or "The 40-Year-Old Virgin", but apart from all that I really think that Carrell in the movie "Little Miss Sunshine" was awesome. I also like him a lot the way he acts on "The Office". He is awesome!
  • From the Daily Show, to The Office, and to the big screen Steve Carell is as funny as his work tv and movies are well writen

I used to watch Steve Carell on one of my favorite shows "The Daily Show". As an anchor he was funny and charming. His comedic timing and acting were perfect. I was sad to see him leave the show, but knew he was destined for greatness. The movie "40 Year Old Virgin" was well done, while maybe a little crude for my taste. When I began watching "The Office" I fell in love with it. Carell plays, idiotic and corny, yet likable regional manager of the Scranton branch of the Dunder Miffilin paper company. He plays that role so well and the show has become one of my personal favorites. "Little Miss Sunshine" was an independent success. It is a testament to Carell's comedic brilliance that he was willing to go low-budget for a script he liked. It payed off because the movie, which I enjoyed, is nominated in the Oscars. It seems what ever Carell touches turns to gold. We can only hope he will continue to make us laugh for years to come.

Steve Carell is quickly becoming one of the top comedic actors of our time. While he is mainly known for his role of Michael Scott on television's, "The Office," it was his work in movies that landed him the cushy television role. From his appearances in "Anchorman" to "Bruce Almighty," every thing that Carell does is hilarious.
  • Steve Carell is among the few characters who make a series unique and refreshing. We hate him but we all love him as Michael Scott in The Office.

Let me see... George Constanza and Kramer from Seinfeld, JD and Perry Cox from Scrubs, Earl from My Name is Earl and Dexter Morgan from Dexter are amongst my personal hall of fame of truly unique characters in a series. We can say that because of these people a show can separte itself from the rest just by the sheer and powerful personalities they shed. Michael Scott is surely one of them and here's why.

Michael lives in a bubble, and one can never truly understando how it is that he is a regional manager at a paper company. And not to forget that his employes are also pretty weird but I guess that is why they can stand Michael's ego, bad jokes, arrousments, abuses, lazyness, romances, etc. But very deep inside we knos that Michael does care about his employees and will always treat them as friends first than his co-workers.

Steve Carell, man what a versatile actor. I just saw Little Miss Sunshine for the 5th time and I'm just so surpirsed of hi talent to impersonate many types of characters and still be so truthful and dovoted to each of them. Cheers for him and let's hope to see more and more of Steve for years to come.

Everything Steve Carell does makes me laugh. I loved him when i first saw him in Anchorman and then when i went back and watched Bruce Almighty i recognized him there. That made that movie a whole lot better for me. Finally Carell got the respect he deserved and was awarded his own movie with The 40 year old virgin, which i find to be one of the funniest movies of all time. Also he is in The Office which is one of my favorite shows. he plays Michael Scott the idiotic boss. My favorite Michael quote. I could never be Donald trump... If i had a catch phrase it would be your hired and you can work here as long as you would like

I fell in love with Steve Carell in Bruce Almighty. I had never seen or heard of him before i saw it, and the spotlight was stolen by Jim Carrey. Then, Anchorman: Legend of Ron Burgundy came out, and he was just as great playing Brick. He got a little more credit and became much more well known. The, FINALLY, he got a movie of his own. The 40-Year-Old Virgin was among the funniest comedies ever made. He acted so well, and didnt let any of his fans down. Then The Office. My favorite television show. He became my favorite star and still is. The impressions get me every time.

One day, he will be as widely known as Will Ferrel or Mike Myers. Until then, i'll bask in his incredible acting skills with the other smart fans!
