Steven was born in Bolsover, Derbyshire in 1982. After attending the local school, he expressed an interest in performing arts and moved to Glasgow to follow his ambition. He has enjoyed experience acting in theatre and has now moved to TV work.

Steven: I live in Manchester now, but I do come back home when I can. All my family still live in Bolsover so it is nice to come home and see them when I get a break from filming.
Steven: I have a real passion for theatre. I loved doing A Midsummer Night's Dream — it was great fun, but for now I am concentrating on gaining experience in TV.
Steven: I am really enjoying my role in Heartbeat. It is my first big TV role and I am loving it. I was a bit nervous about going on to such an established show, but I soon settled in and I am having a great time.
Steven: (At a St John's ambulance fundraiser) It has been heart-warming to see so many skills demonstrated by all of the competitors. This is a fantastic way of promoting these skills to the general public and the importance of First Aid to help save lives.
