Steve: (talking about the public's reaction to comedy show High Hopes) You just get smiles from people, especially in the (South Wales) Valleys. It's crazy. Out of everything that I have done back in Wales, that's the one that gets the biggest response. And it's lovely because it is a great cast and crew.
Steve: (talking about the filming of Grown Ups) It's the perfect mix between theatre and telly with the audience there, and the live feedback. It's great because you get that buzz of theatre, which I've missed.
Steve: It's nice to know that Welsh actors can get parts in network shows and not only in programmes that just go out in Wales. Up until around four or five years ago, you would hear Scots or Irish accents on TV dramas, but never a Welsh accent.
