  • Quotes

    • Steven: (on checking into a rehab facility to heal after a series of surgeries to correct long-time foot injuries) The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time. The 'foot repair' pain was intense, greater than I'd anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet. Make no mistake, AEROSMITH has no plans to stop rocking. There's a new album to record, then another tour.

    • Steve: Of all the things I ever lost I miss my mind the most.

    • Steve: The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those that got there first.

    • Steve: (on why he became sober) Liv is possibly the biggest reason for me changing the way I lived. She is a dream daughter. When she was very young I wasn't sure whether I was the father but, by the time she was eight, I knew for sure. I saw my features in hers and I cried. I started seeing her a lot and I think her mother had alluded to the fact I was her dad. I just said to her, 'Liv, there's something I want to tell you. I'm your Daddy.' It was one of the most emotional moments of my life and I just stood there crying like a baby while she shouted, 'I knew it, I knew it.' I love her more than anything and have a great relationship with her. We can talk about anything.

    • Steven: My daughters are beautiful, I am one proud papa. I am also a grandpa now...check THAT out, a grandfather, strange how life works, one day you are in a haze, the next you are a family man.

    • Steven: I guess I'm just not the marrying type, it has been proven time and time again. It's not that I am not capable of loving another person, I am...but spending our lives together, that's where I run into trouble.

    • Steven: Ya think that the whiskey tastes good? Try a big cup of sobriety, now that is the good stuff!

    • Steven: The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those that got there first.

Stephen Tyler did a real good job with his own rendition of "I Love Trash" featured on the CD "Elmopalooza". When i first heard the song, i started to sing along with it. It's a tight song that was performed perfectly. He caught the attention of many people with it. I recommend that song to everyone.
