Biography

Recent Role:
CIA Interrogator on Leverage
Gender:
Male
Birthplace:
Kingsport, Tenn.
Birth Name:
Stoney Westmoreland
Stoney grew up in Kingsport, Tenn., and now lives in Marina Del Rey, Calif. He still has family in Kingsport.
While in school, Stoney was a participant in the Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts program.
He continued his education at the N.C. School of the Arts, which has among its alumni actress Jada Pinkett Smith, actor Tom Hulce (who played Mozart in "Amadeus"), Diedrich Bader (Oswald on "The Drew Carey Show") and Gary Beach (who received the 2001 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for his role as Roger DeBris in Broadway's "The Producers").

More After graduation, he and wife Beth Brinker moved to New York City. He got his early breaks not on Broadway, but in TV commercials for companies like Hoover and Wendy's. Finding a nice niche in ads, he and his family moved to California where he could star in dozens of more commercials, including one also featuring basketball legend Larry Bird.

He has earned work in TV and film such as a small part in "Godzilla" the movie and sitcoms "Mad About You," "News Radio" and "Two Guys, A Girl And A Pizza Place."

Personal tidbits:

Stoney and Beth don't watch network television and don't even care to own a TV, so they haven't seen most of the work that pays their bills.

Stoney has played parts where the character was stocky. Stoney has put on and taken off weight, but was told at one audition that they didn't like him slender -- there are enough pretty boys in Hollywood, and they like him better with a little more weight because he looks like an average Joe.

OMG! This guy is GOLD! hide show

Spank me silly and color me happy!@!!#@

Have you seen the Comfort Inn advert this guy does?? WOW!!!

Forget Brad Pitt. Forget de Niro. THIS is where all the talent and gorgeous looks are.

Simply STUNNING. I cannot get enough of him.

More STONEY PLEASE. HOLLYWOOD, Get your collective head out of your arse and put this STUD in the next multi-billion blockbuster!! If I could only get the chance to touch him....JUST ONCE... my wife left me after seeing that damned Comfort Inn commercial. She left everything behind and said she would live off the streets in LA hoping to catch a glimpse of him, somwhere, somehow.

I cant say I blame her. I'd do the same if I didnt have this damn mortgage to pay.

This man is amazing. He can play serious, he can play funny, it really does not matter at all. He never fails to amaze me when he's on the big screen or just on television. Even his commercials are great. This guy deserves more recognition if you ask me. hide show

This man is amazing. He can play serious, he can play funny, it really does not matter at all. He never fails to amaze me when he's on the big screen or just on television. Even his commercials are great. This guy deserves more recognition if you ask me. He has played alongside such amazing and successful actors such as Matthew Broaderick and Nicolas Cage. He rules all of television and will become an undying force in the movies and in television when given the proper and righful acknowledgement. I give this guy two thumbs up and can not wait for his next work.
