Sully began her career in Puerto Rico as a model. At the early age of 17 she began to act in spanish soap operas, making her a common face on Puerto Rico's television. In 1983, although she had an impressive resume, her fame invaded all Latin America with the role of "Coralito", the soap named after the main character. From that point on, Sully became a sweetheart to all and was known as "the queen of spanish soaps".
In the early 90's, Sully set her eyes on Hollywood. There she appeared in various tv shows as guest star and even worked in a few movies.

By the mid 90's, Sully joined four other very funny latin females in a comedy group which named themselves "The Hot & Spicy Mamitas". The girls, Dyana Ortelli, Marilyn, Ludo Vika, Lydia Nicole and Sully, had sold-out appearances in most of Los Angeles comedy clubs. They recorded a live show on CD named simply, "The Hot & Spicy Mamitas".
In 2002, Sully made critics talk about her wonderful theatrical abilities in the off-Broadway play, "La Lupe: My Life, My Destiny". This play played to sold out audiences for about 4 months. Everyone raved about how great Sully played the Cuban singer, La Lupe....it was as though La Lupe came back to us for 2 hours! Shortly after the New York run of this play, Sully made her own production of "La Reina, La Lupe". This play toured all of Puerto Rico and was very successful in Miami and Broward, Florida. There is talk of a musical CD of the play as well as a salsa cd.
In 2004, Sully is touring with Gilberto Santa Rosa in the play called "La Verdadera Historia de Pedro Navaja".
Sully is a multi-talented entertainer. She is thought of as a wonderfully talented soap opera actress, has appeared in Hollywood, is a great theater performer (has been known to sing beautifully on stage, although no recordings have been made as of yet), and is a hysterical comedienne. Sully is a pride to all.
