Bottom line: Susan Grace is fabulous. I first I saw her on the New York stage and was immediately taken with her presence and, even in a serious role, how screamingly funny she could be when the moment was right. Then, much to my delight, I began seeing her on TV as I flicked through the evening lineup. My two favorites are the bitchy grocery store check out lady on “Providence” and a grieving family member on “Scrubs”. Susan was hysterical in both shows! She always plays a “real” person, always believable, never over the top, and always funny and fabulous. I would love to keep flipping channels and find her on a sitcom of her own. She’s got the goods. She should have the work. Susan deserves to be seen and loved by everyone who watches her perform.
Ms. Grace has all it takes to keep you engrossed in her performance. She is always natural and authentic in whatever role she takes on. Added to that she has a magnificent voice. Multi-talented actress. I love watching her work. She provides additional ooomph to every show that I have seen her in. Would love to see her in larger roles and as an added character to a sitcom. Her comic timing is impeccable.
No one makes me laugh and cry simultaneously in quite the way that Susan does. She's a grand lady. Any project blessed to have her is well on it's way to being a staggering success. I simply love her. And have you heard her sing? Hail Susan, full of grace
Susan Grace is a terrific comic actress. She brings to her work just about the finest ironic world view I've ever beheld and it manifests itself in truthful, witty, unsurpassed performances. She is a walking sense of humor. While she may bring to mind the likes of Alice Ghostley and Jane Connell in that she never misses her mark or makes a false move, she appears to be a complete original. No one makes me laugh and cry simultaneously in quite the way that Susan does. She's a grand lady. Any project blessed to have her is well on its way to being a staggering success. I simply love her. And wait till you hear her sing! Hail Susan, full of grace.
I've had opportunity to watch Susan's television performances in "Scrubs" and "Providence", as well as in the small films "8 1/2 x 11" (where her deadpan delivery simply slayed me) and "Bring Your Own" (a departure for her, but she totally stole the film with her oversexed Mrs. Robinson-type character). She's simply amazing in everything and yet she finds the heart in each of her roles. I can't wait to see what she does next! This is an actress who will definitely have a huge career for many, many years in both comedies and dramas, in film and in televsion.
Susan is one of those actresses who always knows how to approach a role. She's got the best comedic timing I've ever seen -- I don't know how she does it. And there is no one better at deadpan sarcasm. But she also has the range to play dramatic roles with simplicity and honesty --- she can really break your heart. I've never heard her sing, but I hear she's also quite spectacular on stage as well. I read somewhere that she hasn't been in Hollywood very long, but I have no doubt that she will be a big star very soon.
I\'ve seen many of Susan\'s performances on television, film and on stage in NY. She\'s quite extraordinary in everything she does, and is equally adept at both comedy and drama. She has an innate sense of timing for any genre, and nobody in the business has better comedic timing -- she can make anything funny, but does so with great humanity and truthfulness. Susan, with her wickedly dry delivery, always manages to make her characters approachable. And boy, can she break your heart in a drama. And you must hear her sing -- impressive is an understatement. She flawlessly moves from belt to mezzo to soprano. Watch out world -- sooner than later she\'s going to become a household name in a fabulous sitcom.
