Susan Ward

Susan attended Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, LA.

Susan was in New Zealand filming the Hercules episode "Green-Eyed Monster" when she got the news that her soap Malibu Shores was cancelled. When she got back to the States she immediately headed to New York to begin auditioning for new roles.

Susan is 5'4" with brown hair and blue eyes.

Susan says she got into acting after attending an acting class with a friend. She loved the class so much that she decided to take some herself, and eventually she started going out on auditions as well.

In 1996, Susan played "Psyche" in the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys episode, "The Green-Eyed Monster." One year later, she reprised the role, in voice only, for the episode "A Comedy of Eros" on Xena: Warrior Princess.

Susan has posed nude for Maxim magazine and has appeared on FHM's "100 Sexiest Women In The World" list several times, including 2002, 2001, and 2000.

Susan is supports many animal charities and is an active member of Actors and Others for Animals. She herself has has three cats who are named Sawyer, Buffy, and Velvet.

In 1999 Susan took a hiatus from Sunset Beach to film the movie The In Crowd. During that time, actress Sydney Penny temporarily replaced her as "Meg Cummings" on the NBC soap opera.

As a girl Susan wanted to become a veterinarian, and moved to New York at age 13 to work as a model to earn enough money to put herself through veterinary school. But when her modeling career took off, she decided to take acting lessons and continue in show business.

During her three years on Sunset Beach, Susan was named "Performer of the Week" by Soap Opera Digest on two different occasions.

Susan used to race on the BMX bicycle circuit as a girl.

In 1999, Susan and her Sunset Beach co-star, Clive Robertson, were nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award in the category of "Favorite Couple". They lost to David Canary and Jennifer Bassey of All My Children.

Susan Ward is best friends with Angel star Charisma Carpenter. The two met when they both auditioned for the role of "Maggie Cory" on the NBC soap opera Another World.

In June 2005 Susan married the vice-president of Morgan Creek Productions, David C. Robinson. They met in 1999 when he cast her in the movie The In Crowd.
