The character of Queen (in the show Kings) has so much dignity,intelligence, awareness (and cleverly-feigned unawareness) -- and a scary icy veneer. Yet the actress lets the veneer crack to show the vulnerability -- but always with the regal breeding and conditioning that the character has undoubtedly grown up with. This is a fully-fleshed, believable character -- and if the actress did not grow up amongst the elite in New England or England, then she's an even better actress than I already believe! I hope that "Kings" gets a second chance, and a wider audience, because the Queen is an Emmy-worthy role (even better than Kyra Sedgwick's "The Closer" -- and I'm a HUGE fan of Kyra!)
