Susie Castillo

Susie was ranked #78 in Maxim's Hot 100 Women 2008.

Even though she was the first person of Puerto Rican-Dominican descent to win the title of Miss USA she was the 3rd third Latina ever to become Miss USA, prompting People en Español to name her one of the "25 Most Beautiful People".

Susie was Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 1998, Miss Massachusetts USA 2003 and also won the Miss USA pageant for 2003 and in the process became the first person of Puerto Rican-Dominican descent to win the title of Miss USA.

She got engaged to her boyfriend of 4 years on "On-Air With Ryan Seacrest."

Some of her favorite movies are When Harry Met Sally, You've Got Mail, Forrest Gump, Batman Begins, Harry Potter, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and Wedding Crashers.

She's afraid of horror movies. She's still afraid of the dark an sometimes feels like there's something under her bed.

She likes anything 80's for music, among current acts such as Van Hunt, Common, Jay-Z, The Killers, and Norah Jones.

She likes video games, especially her NES.

She loves playing golf, poker, traveling anywhere warm, unless she's snowboarding.

Susie is 5'5", but stands 5'8" with heels.

During her spare time Susie does volunteer work for HAWC (Help for Abused Women and Children), the Lawrence Girls Club, and for the Latinas Against Sexual Assault.

In high school, her clubs were: Peerleader, Volleyball, and Indoor Track.

In college, her major was Interior Architecture & Design.

Her heroes are her mother and grandmother who raised her and had 19 kids.

She attended Methuen High from 1993 to 1997 and participated in volleyball and indoor track.

She attended the Enidicott College.

She was a professional teen model at the age of 15.
