    • The majority of Sutton's extended family lives in North Carolina and Georgia.

    • As of March, 2007, Sutton is been playing the role of Janet van der Grarf in the Broadway musical The Drowsy Chaperone.

    • Sutton participated in the original workshops for Wicked, but did not perform in the show on Broadway.

    • Sutton left high school early in order to perform in the national tour of The Will Rogers Follies. She later received her diploma through correspondence courses. She attended one year of college at Carnegie Mellon University, but left after one year to be an actress full time.
