Terrence “TC” Carson is most notable linked to the role of Kyle Barker, the over confident self-proclaimed ladies man from the 90s FOX smash Living Single.
For five years he dazzled us with his role, and no matter how pompous and facetious he tried to be, the viewers loved him still for his gift of being brutally honest.
But perhaps TC’s best kept secret is that fact that he is not only an acclaimed actor but also a strong performer having displayed his gift of song and dance on stage in such productions as: Ain’t Misbehaving and The Wiz to name a few.
Occasionally Living Single fans would receive a small delectable sample of TC’s talent as his character Kyle embarked into a repartee song or two, but rarely were we ever given the full throttle of his capability.
T.C. is a highly favorable actor in all regards and I don’t think it would be too disheartening to find him appearing in more sitcoms. Now if he can just shake that image of Kyle Barker, everything will be all right.
