  • Quotes

    • T.R. Knight: I think, you know, as an actor, unless you're exceedingly lucky and you're one of the golden few, a lot of your life you're unemployed and a lot of your life you're poor. You gotta be a little insane and driven and have it be the only thing you want to do.

    • T.R. Knight: (on growing up gay and his coming out) You are taught you are wrong, that you are bad. [So] you don't do anything, and you wrap yourself in a little straitjacket, and you put yourself in your little room. 'Don't do it! Don't look at someone, don't touch them, don't kiss them, don't do anything!' Then maybe it's OK. I mean, sure, that plagued me all through childhood, you know, in so many ways, and that's stuff that's hard to get away from. But you have to, and eventually, you know, you do.

    • T.R. Knight: (on closeted actors) Everyone has their own path. You just have to respect that. I don't know what it's like to be in their shoes. I know a lot of people who make statements, but you have to do it when it's right for you. It don't think it's right to force that. It's impossible to know ... There's a lot of soul searching you have to do.

    • T.R. Knight: (about coming out of the closet after being called a faggot by "Grey's Anatomy" co-star Isaiah Washington) It's an awesome word, isn't it? I've never been called that to my face before, so I think that when that happened, something shifted, and it became bigger than myself. I was under no delusions, though. My friends on the set knew. We talked about it. Publicly, it's not my thing to call up People Magazine and be like, "Hey, you wanna know something about me?" I could have just let it slide and not say anything, but it became important for me to make the statement.

    • T.R. Knight: (about his co-star Katherine Heigl's wedding) Incredible and beautiful.

    • T.R. Knight: (on his short-lived romance with Meredith on "Grey's Anatomy") Shonda [Rhimes] kept the bedroom scene a secret from us until the read-through. The script just said: 'Scene to be given at read-through.' It was kind of cool, everybody read it at the same time. So it made for quite an exciting read-through. Then you see how horrible it all turned out.

    • T.R. Knight: (on his struggle to establish himself in New York) It's just hard with New York rent to survive, even if you're lucky to be working. The last Off-Broadway show I did was like $187 a week. Luckily, I was able to get some commercial work every once in a while that would float me.

    • T.R. Knight: I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unecessary rumors that may be out there. While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me.

  • Loved him as "George" on "Grey's".

Great actor. I was glad to see him leave though b/c they where going no where with his character.
  • I liked George. Actually, I likED TR Knight. But I don't like people who complain. So I hope he winds up being happy and successful. But I also hope he gets nicer.moreless

Like I said. I think TR got too big for his pants, as they say. He should grow up. He really did some good work, like the night he slept with Izzie, he was just great. And his obession with Meredith was good, too. I am not sure that the GA people were faithful to his character, but who knows what would have happened. It also makes me wonder what we don't know about what happened with I Washington, because there is more to it than we know. With that said, let's see where TR is two years. Best Wishes.moreless
