    • Tammy recorded her final interview with Larry King Live on July 18. It aired the following night, and she died the next morning at 4:00 a.m. on July 20, 2007.
    • Tammy appeared on a television commercial for the board game Trivial Pursuit 90s Edition, in 2004.
    • Tammy was known for the extravagant amount of makeup that she wears, especially the mascara on her eyelashes.

    • Tammy married contracter and church builder Roe Messner in 1993, he is battling Cancer as well, of the prostate. Roe opted to not go through the chemotherapy and radiation, but rather adopted his own faith to heal his Cancer.
    • Tammy believed that the most important part of beating cancer, was a positive attitude. She lived each day with a determination to get better, taking a walk, even if she was tired, went out to eat, even when she couldn't taste, and continued to shop, travel, and administer church service, even though the cancer had paralyzed her left vocal chord.
    • Tammy received chemotherapy treatments to kill the Cancer, but also started her own non-medicinal approach. She took vitamins A,B,C,D,& E, one aspirin a day, 4 barley green tabs (green grass), and all of the green fruits and vegetables that she could find. These were meant to boost her blood cell count, and immune system.
    • Tammy had colon cancer that took 8 years to spread to her left lung, and was inoperable, she had spots and a two inch tumor on her lung.
