Tara Lipinski

Tara started out on roller skates when she was very young, winning several competitions, but she wanted to move even faster. When her parents first took her ice skating, Tara had a horrible time staying on her feet, and they were convinced that the sport wasn't for her. But when her parents went inside for hot chocolate and came back a little later, Tara had adjusted to her ice skates and was flying across the rink.
