Tara Reid
As one of the stars of the 1999 summer smash American Pie, Tara Reid experienced an almost meteoric ascent into overnight celebrity. Possessing the kind of buxom blond good looks that ensure future employment and Internet shrines, Reid was best-known for her role as The Big Lebowski's trophy wife, Bunny Lebowski, before being cast in Pie.

A native of Wyckoff, New Jersey, where she was born on November 8, 1975, Reid broke into acting at the age of six, when she was a contestant on the CBS children's game show, Child's Play. She went on to study at New York's Professional

More Children's School, where her classmates included Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jerry O'Connell, and Macaulay Culkin. After appearing in commercials for such products as Jell-O and Crayola, Tara landed a role on the sitcom Saved by the Bell: the New Class in 1994 and then had a recurring role on the daytime drama Days of Our Lives the following year.

She got her first substantial film roles in 1998, appearing in the Ed Wood-scripted I Woke Up Early the Day I Died, The Big Lebowski, the independent film Around the Fire, and Urban Legend, the latest in a long line of teen slasher flicks. Tara won some amount of recognition for the last film, which featured a Who's-Who line-up of post-pubescent stars and cast her as a campus radio talk show host. The following year, she earned a form of screen immortality with her role as the girlfriend of one of four high school guys who make a pact to lose their virginity in American Pie. She also appeared in more low-profile roles in the independent film Girl and in Cruel Intentions, which featured her as one of Ryan Phillippe's more unfortunate conquests. Later that year, she had a starring role in Body Shots, playing one of a group of twenty-something friends on the prowl for love and/or sex in Los Angeles.

She has also appeared in Josie and The Pussycats (2001), based on the Archie Comics. Her own vocals were used for the soundtrack and she was to learn how to play drums at Band Camp. Which is something Tara found hard to take serious after American Pie. But she took part and became close friends with fellow casts members. She also appeared in the hit sequel to American Pie (also 2001), which most cast members have said will be the only sequel.

Tara was also engaged to MTV Host Carson Daly [who had a small cameo in Josie and The Pussycats] up until 2001. They both found the stress of the media's false stories too much and were unhappy rowing over nothing, so the engagement was called off. Shortly after their split Tara found herself with a loss of appetite, and detirmined not to become anorexic, she sought help from 5 different doctors in a bid to beat the illness. Although the two found their break-up extremely hard to deal with, they both moved on and remain friends.

Tara also has her own production company, named 'Hi Happy Films'

Tara Reid where to start is the question. hide show

To be honest the biggest thing that draws me to Tara Reid is her looks. I do not know much about her personal life but I like it that way, it keeps me in the dark and it lets her live her life as she wants. The movie that truly grabbed me was her role in Van Wilder. In my opinion that was the best she ever looked. Some say that her voice is nails on a calk board. I will agree that she doesn’t have the sweetest voice but she does have her moments. I have heard that she had implants done and I checked out some of her “new” pictures and I will be honest she looked a thousand times better before the implants. Moving away from that we must all remember that she is human and makes mistakes not to mention we all might be in the same boat as she is if the tables were turned. So remember she is human, a gorgeous human but a human none the less lets give her a break.

I like her in Scrubs, but apart from that she just seems to focus on very bad projects, like for example My Boss' Daughter was awful and I really did not like her style in that movie. She also appeared in American Pie, that I kind of dislike, and therefor, well I don't really like her style sometimes.

This rating is based on Tara's talents (or lack thereof) as an actress and not on her personality of other "skills." To be honest, she's not the worst actress out there, but she's not good either. She seems to play the same character and each of those character's has, essentially, the same tone to her voice and same demeanor in her acting.

    Down with Tara! hide show

Her new show makes Americans look like morons. She parties her but off, and gets drunk. Someone once called her retated! I don't blame them, she does act very, very, very retarted all the time! Sha can't act and the only thing people remember her for, are her boobs showing! Boobs shown once, shame on the people who sold you the dress, but boobs shown two or more times, shame on you Tara! So go puts some clothes on, and take care of your nasty looking body!
