    • In Toronto's Now Magazine, Tara described her style as "Messy rock 'n' roll adventure".

    • Tara's writing credits include the short films Ger and Andrea and Happy Birthday Sammy.

    • Tara is a member of the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto.

    • In 2006, Tara enlisted her fellow Sue Thomas F.B.Eye co-star, Ted Atherton, for a role in her own short film, Find.
