    • Tara, along with the rest of her Corner Gas co-stars, was nominated for a 2007 Gemini Award in the category of "Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series for the episode "Gopher It".

    • On April 17th, 2007, Tara participated in the Toronto Fashion Incubator 20th anniversary gala celebrating Canadian designers; she modeled a full-length dress on the runway.

    • When she was in the fourth grade, Tara had to make a time capsule that would be opened in the year 2000. In hers, she put some of her gymnastics ribbons, her retainer and a letter in which she predicted that she would either be an Olympic gymnast or a famous actress.

    • Tara's favourite candy is York Peppermint Patties.

    • Tara's birthday is January 6th; coincidentally, this is the same day as her Corner Gas co-star Lorne Cardinal.

    • On December 12, 2006, Tara participated in the CTV "Toy Mountain," which is the station's drive to collect gifts for the needy. Tara appeared at a local Toronto mall and wrapped the gifts that were donated. She participated in the 2007 "Toy Mountain" drive as well, once again wrapping gifts at Sherway Mall in Toronto on December 13, 2007.

    • Tara Spencer-Nairn, along with the rest of the Corner Gas cast, appeared in a comedy benefit held in O'Hanlan's Pub in Regina, Saskatchewan on August 25, 2006. The night of comedy was held to support the Rachel Davis Foundation, a charity started by Corner Gas co-star, Janet Wright.

    • Tara is bilingual. She speaks French and English fluently.

    • Tara participated in a cross-Country gas giveaway in Sept 04, to promote the begining of season 2 of Corner Gas.
