While looking through a new spell book, Twilight accidentally casts a spell on her friends, causing them to switch cutie marks and destinies. Now Twilight tries to think of a way to fix this, not knowing that when she does, her true destiny will be fulfilled.

Galvan B is destroyed. Ben must deal with a past failure; a deranged Malware launches his final attack in order to obtain the immeasurable energy and power of the Omnitrix and kill Ben once and for all.

The Crystal Empire is nominated to host the next Equestria games. Princess Cadance asks Twilight and her friends to help her welcome the games inspector and show her that the Empire is the perfect place to host the games. (But they accidentally welcome the wrong pony.)

After Ben accidentally destroys his car during his fight with Psyphon's minion Thunderpig, Mr. Baumann orders Ben to make deliveries for him without using the Omnitrix. This won't be easy for Ben when Psyphon comes after him.

Spike volunteers to take care of the ponies' pets while they take a trip to the Crystal Empire, in exchange for some gems that he needs for a cake he's making for himself. But Spike soon discovers that taking care of six different animals is a lot harder than it looks.

After Applejack saves Spike from a pack of timber wolves, he feels deeply indebted to her. According to his very own Noble Dragon Code, Spike completely devotes himself to serving Applejack, even though she does not want his help.

Rainbow Dash is overly excited when she gets accepted into the Wonderbolts Academy. But she may have her work cut out for her when she meets a young pegasus named Lightning Dust, who likes to push herself to the limit and this seems to impress the instructors, making Rainbow Dash think that she's not cut out to be a Wonderbolt.

Trixie returns to Ponyville and challenges Twilight to a magic duel. To everyone's shock, Trixie beats Twilight and bashes her from town. Twilight soon learns that Trixie used a powerful amulet to beat her, but also learns that the more time Trixie wears it, the more evil she'll become. Now Twilight must return to Ponyville and find a way to stop Trixie once and for all.

The Pound Puppies need a miracle to place thousands of puppies that are overflowing from shelters all over town. The task seems insurmountable, but Rebound's tenacity may be just enough to pull off a Christmas miracle.

When Pinkie Pie is invited by her friends to multiple fun activities taking place at the same time, the party pony clones herself using a magical mirror pond to avoid choosing between them. This solution starts to become a problem when Ponyville is overrun with a plethora of pink ponies.

After a thousand-year curse vanishes, the Crystal Empire reappears in Equestria's north. Princess Celestia calls upon Twilight Sparkle and her friends to protect the empire from harm. Although Princess Candance and Shining Armor have been sent ahead to keep the empire safe temporarily, Twilight and her gang search for a lasting solution.

As Princess Cadance struggles to keep the Crystal Empire protected with her own magic, Twilight searches for the Crystal Heart, and her friends keep the Crystal Ponies entertained at the Crystal Fair, all of which is necessary to keep evil from returning.

Khyber the Huntsman infiltrates a facility to download information on Ben Tennyson's experience with a deformed Mechamorph named Malware. He learns of Malware's creation and destruction, as well as Malware's search for a Helix.

Dipper wishes he could travel back in time and fix his mistake he made in the past. He then discovers a time machine that can help him. Meanwhile, Mabel finds her first love when she wins a pet pig at the fair.
