Tara has written and performed the one-woman show Gypsy of Chelsea. It is based on her childhood and deals with her mother's addiction and recovery from cocaine addiction. When first presented in 2005, the show was produced and directed by actor Julian Rhind-Tutt.
Tara was nominated, along with her Boston Legal castmates for a SAG Award in the category of Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2008.
Tara is 5 feet, 7.5 inches tall (1.71 m).
Tara has studied at the National Theater Institute.
In 2003, Tara trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
