Tasma was born in Geraldton, Western Australia in 1974. After deferring her law degree she joined the local radio station in her home town, getting her first taste of the show-business industry. She was accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) but dropped out after 2 years. She joined a small Sydney theatre company called the 'New Theatre' which led to guest appearances on Blue Heelers, Home and Away and Echo Point. Has also appeared in numerous television series such as McLeod's Daughters and City Homicide. Starred alongside Sigrid Thorton in the telemovie Little Oberon in 2005. Has also starred in US tv movies Airtight and Virtual Nightmare. Tasma lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Rove McManus.
