    • Ted Kennedy: (Addressing Report on Declining Job Numbers, December 5, 2008)Today's dire jobs numbers show the unrelenting toll the recession is taking on employees and their families. Now, more than ever, we need a strong economic recovery package that creates jobs, strengthens the safety net, and invests wisely in the nation's future. I look forward to working with President Obama and my colleagues in Congress to end this nightmare and begin a new era of shared prosperity and growth for our country.

  • He is an embarrasment to the Kennedy name

    1.0
He is so far to the left, that he won't even listen to anything says with a different opinion it seems. He is so partisan and is losing votes for the Democrats. I have seen Democrat leaders, when asked how they defend people like him and Hillary, they said it is hard to defend them sometimes. They are dragging down the reputation of their party, and he is dragging down the good name that JFK and RFK had set for the Kennedy's. I'm not saying they were perfect but they were open to other opinions from what I know about them through history and shows. Ted should step back and try to have the country's interests in mind instead of just his own political party.moreless
