McGinley is perhaps best known to audiences for his portrayals of the Bundys' neighbor, Jefferson D'Arcy, for seven seaons on the hit Married … with Children, and as Greek Council President Stan Gable in the cult hit film, Revenge of the Nerds. His extensive television credits include recurring roles on the critically-acclaimed series The West Wing, Sports Night, Charlie Lawrence, Dynasty, The Love Boat and Happy Days. Other notable guest appearances include The Practice, The John Laroquette Show, Evening Shade, Perfect Strangers, Hotel, B.L. Stryker and Dream On. In addition he has acted in… More several telefilms, such as Hard Time: Hostage Hotel, Every Mother's Worst Fear, Netnapped, Deadly Web and the miniseries Wild Justice.

On the silver screen, the versatile actor appeared in Pearl Harbor, Daybreak, The Big Tease, Dick, Major League: Back to the Minors and Wayne's World 2. Additional feature films include Frozen Impact, Not Your Ordinary Girl, Three Tornados, Young Doctors in Love, Troop Beverly Hills and Physical Evidence.

McGinley has also appeared on stage, with performances in 6 Rms Rtv Vu for Kansas Theatre and I'm Not Rappaport at the Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre.

He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, actress GiGi Rice, and their two children.

    Ted McGinley is more like an 100/100 actor. hide show

    Ted McGinley, is my all time faorite actor, he's the BEST in everything he's in. I will watch him in anything he's on because he's just so AWESOME!!! He should have his own show he deserves it I mean he is the BEST actor ever!!! I love all the shows and movies he's in because he's in them. He is like the only actor I can actually watch on TV and fell happy or laugh or cry at what he is saying or doing. He really has the BEST talented in the acting and he's so FUNNY and AWESOME. Even when he is on Regis and Kelly co host I fell that he should be on there more than Regis Philman. There's no other actor like him since ever he
    so AWESOME!!!

    Drama, comedy, fiction, he has got it going on.
    What's up Hollywood are you deadwood? I remember when he starred on "Married With Children" he was busy, but not to busy for the Children's Cancer Hospitals and charity events. Nope and a great sense of humor to boot.

    If you all do not know it this man is top notch, stand up and reach for the stars.

    Needs his own show? Darn straight! I am all thumbs up on this charmer and his wife is awesome as well. Hey GiGi

    A very funny man. hide show

    Ted McGinley is the actor that provided the role as Jefferson in "Married...With Children" in the later seasons. He did a great job in this role, but, unfortunately, MWC is cancelled. The show got better after he joined the cast. He is very talented and funny, as well as a favorite of mine. He has a great voice, too. Overall, great voice, talented, and funny.
