Forums: Terry O'Quinn Board: Great Actor in a Great Role!

I'd never seen Terry O'Quinn's work before the pilot of "Lost." For me, he completely stole the show, particularly in the first season, and his performance in the episode "Walkabout" should have singularly earned him an Emmy Award on the spot. I'm very glad he won the Emmy eventually, but as is too common with awards, it was mis-timed. He should have won it for Season One. As an actor, he continues to impress me every week, even though I am not as enthusiastic about where the story has taken his character. But, as an audience, we must evaluate performance separately from plot. This guy is the real deal as an actor. I only hope that he finds roles as wonderful as Locke, once "Lost" is over.

He is the probably one of the best actors on Lost. Love his character too.
