Teryl Rothery: I can't remember a time I wasn't performing.

Teryl Rothery: I'm so not like ["Stargate SG-1" (1997) character Dr. Janet] Fraiser. She's so controlled and contained. I'm nuts! I'm full of energy! I'm always going. I try to slow it down by doing yoga, but I end up the loudest one in the class. I'm always active, roller blading and taking dance classes

(On the idea of an on-screen romance on "Stargate SG-1" (1997))
Teryl Rothery: The fans always want to link you up romantically. The British fans always want to link me up with Dr. Daniel Jackson, and another group of fans want to link me up with Jack O'Neill. I would hate to see any kind of love interest among the team. I think if there was something like that it would be better coming from someone off the base

(Her ideal storyline on "Stargate SG-1" (1997))
Teryl Rothery: I'd wish for a romantic story, where my character finally gets to conquer the male guest star. Now look at this show: Jack and Daniel always get some women, and also Sam gets her choice. And what does Dr. Fraiser get? A stethoscope.

Teryl: I have always wanted to play Maggie in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"… who knows?
-
Reporter: If you could change one thing about Hollywood, what would it be?
Teryl: If I could change one thing about Hollywood, I would make it more forgiving...
-
Reporter: What do you feel has been your most important professional accomplishment to date?
Teryl: Every job I get I consider important professional accomplishments. I learn from each and every one of them.
-
Reporter: Have you been in the same class than Paul McGillion or just in the same school?
Teryl: We were in the same acting class.

Reporter: In Stargate Atlantis all the actors have long-running contracts. Did you also have a long-running one or did they book you episode by episode?
Teryl: I didn't have a contract for the first two years, so I was on an episode per episode basis. From Season Three on I had a contract that put me up to Season Six.
