Robert Smith has considered the albums Pornography, Disintegration and Bloodflowers as a trilogy as they are linked together stylistically. In 2002 the band performed all three albums in their entirety at a live show in Berlin. This concert would later go on to be released on a DVD titled The Cure: Trilogy.
The Cure's lead singer Robert Smith is well known for his uniquely creepy appearance. He has wild hair which has been compared to a spider on many occasions, smudged red lipstick and a very ghostly complexion.
