The Rolling Stones

This is a pretty good rock and roll band, even though i only like a few of there songs but the songs i like are just amazing, but they have a lot of songs i just don't care about and won't listen to them ever again. They will never be as big as The Beatles were and they were around for only 10 years, and they are still touring and I'm not sure if they are making any new music (If they are its probably really bad). I still can't believe Keith Richards is still alive that guy looks older than my dead great grandpa and he has been dead for 40 years.

No one is more innovative than the Stones. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman, Ian Stewart, Ron Wood, Mick Taylor, they're all incredible. They do it all: Pop Rock, Psychadellic Rock, Folk Rock, Hard Rock, you just can't beat them. The longevity is just unmatchable and unthinkable. The Stones will never die. $150 for a concert ticket and sold out in just a few weeks! If you wanna see these guys you'd better get your ticket fast. They DOMINATED rock in the 60s', 70s', and 80s' and although they arent at as fast a pace now, they still top all rock and roll charts.

I grew up with the Rolling Stones. I love all the songs that they have done. They are still around and are still together. They still do great songs. I can remember riding aroung town and listening to their songs. They had alot of number one hits, and still have to this day. Their style of music fasaniates me. I have alot of their music on cd's and on 45's plus on albums. They take a lickin' and keep on ticking is my saying. They have had some of the best number one's in history. They are invited to go to alot of places. Their concert tickets are kind of high, but they put on one of the best concerts that I know. They are always sold out wherever they go.

The Rolling Stones are the greatest rock and roll band to ever grace the music industry! Seriously, they are! No bands have ever even come close. They have been a band for 44 years now (1962- ) and are showing no signs of quiting. They are in there mid 60's now and can still rock and roll!



They started out as a band who performed blues and R&B covers and were a success in their home country, the UK. But it wasn't until 1965 when they struck it rich in the US with their hit single "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and they kept on topping the charts with top singles every year until 1989.



Throughout their 40 plus years of bandsmenship, they have mixed in such wide varieties of music genres into their music: Rock, Blues, R&B, Pop, Folk, Country, Soul, and even Psychedelia. There is such diversity in all of their albums.



To date, they have released 27 studio albums and, with the exception of a few bad ones in the mid 80's, they have all been great. My personal favorite is "Between The Buttons" because that was the album when the fully transformed from their blues roots and formed their own signature style.



All in all, the Stones are the best!

The Rolling Stones are a true ledgend in music. Their music withstands the tesst of time. The band is still able to fill the stands with people even after 30 years. The band has a following that is dedicated and enthusiastic. They are die hard fans who travel many miles just to hear this band play. In their concerts thy take you back in time to some of their old music which made you fall in love with them to many of their newer songs which keeps you hanging onto your dedication to them. Their talents are endless and their songs are classics that still get played today. A one of a kind band that will continue to be a ledgend in this time.
