Timothy Omundson

Timothy: I really really love what I do and for me, this work... there isn't anything else. I've always been really driven. I think that is the most important aspect of my success... it comes down how much I like it.

Timothy: (Advise to future actors.) If you can do anything else and be happy, do it because this is a very, very hard life at times. But then again, show me a life that's not hard.

Timothy (On the death of friend Kevin Smith(Ares)): The best thing to come out of Xena was the friends I made and the relationships that continue today. Kev and my wife and I had become good friends since the end of the show. His death was one of the saddest things to ever happen in my life. He was a shining light. A shining light. And I'm angry he will never get to meet my daughter, and we'll never get to share a drink again. But my life is better having had him in it.

Timothy: (On watching himself on TV) I am very self-critical, and that's why I do watch. Because, there's always another way to do it, there's always a better way to do it and you normally discover that when you're watching it. Sometimes I'll watch it and go, yeah I did what I wanted to do in that scene. And for me it's like when football players review the game tape, you know, you sort of review what went on and whether you reached your goals.

Timothy: I may like to think I'm God's gift to the Earth at times, but I don't think anyone else does.

Timothy: The road is long and I know that there is no such thing as 'overnight success'. Every job leads you to the next.

Timothy: (On the death of his character on Xena Warrior Princess) I liked it. I thought it was appropriate. I wish the character had, you know, lived a lot longer because I would have liked to have done more episodes, but that's just, you know, me being selfish. I liked the way he went. And I liked it, if anybody took me out, I liked that it was Ares.
