Endeared to audiences around the world for her iconic performance as ‘Katie Douglas’ on the second longest running sitcom of all time, “My Three Sons” (Tina portrayed the wife of Don Grady’s character ‘Robbie Douglas.’) Their character’s televised courtship, marriage and birth of their triplets are amongst the most-remembered and best-loved moments in classic TV history. “My Three Sons” has never been off the air and continues to air widely in syndication, most recently on the popular Me-TV Network.

Tina’s career began when she made her television acting debut in 1963 as a Warner Bros. contract player on the final season of the popular series “Hawaiian Eye.” She played the role of ‘Sunny Day’ alongside costars Troy Donahue and Robert Conrad. Later that year, she made her motion picture debut in “Palm Springs Weekend” and began recording backing vocals for artists including The Everly Brothers & The Letterman.

The next year she joined her mother, sister and cousins as part of the extended family of musical performers known as The King Family. One of the top performing acts of the 1960’s and 70’s, The King Family starred in two of their own network television musical variety series called “The King Family Show” and 17 popular King Family syndicated holiday television specials which aired to blockbuster ratings for over a decade as well as a series of popular albums for Warner Bros. Records, including their best-selling “Christmas with The King Family.”

In 1966, Tina, her sister Cathy and cousins Carolyn and Candy, launched the popular King Family spinoff vocal group, The Four King Cousins with a series of television appearances alongside John Davidson, George Carlin & Richard Pryor on “The Kraft Summer Music Hall.”

Establishing themselves as popular vocalists, The Four King Cousins appeared on the top variety and talk shows of the day and released their debut album titled “Introducing the Four King Cousins” and their follow up album a few years later “The Way We Were.” They toured extensively as concert performers throughout the United States, Canada, France and Japan. As a solo artist, Tina appeared with The Osmonds, Bob Hope and Rowan & Martin amongst others.

Following a PBS retrospective celebrating the King Family’s classic Christmas specials, Tina joined The Four King Cousins for a triumphant return to the concert stage and a new CD collection, More Today Than Yesterday: Classic Songs of the 60’s & 70’s. After several sold-out performances in Los Angeles, the group is touring throughout the US and working a new CD.
