Was Tom Baker the best Doctor Who?

    As far as I'm concerned, Tom defined the role. I know there were other actors in the portrayal before, and there have been others since, but I still like him best. Tom was funny, whipcrack smart, and he never broke that mildly disconcerted frown, except if he had to fight something that was trying to kill him.

    And he had a robot dog.

    Gotta love Tom. He is the standard at which all other Dr Whos are judged.
