Biography:

Tom Bower, born in Denver, Colorado in January 1938, is an American actor who is well-known from appearing in a variety of roles in both film and television. He is best-known for his role of Curt, the physician-husband on The Waltons. He has played very notable supporting roles in many movies, such as Dan Miller in Pollock, and as a gas station attendant in The Hills Have Eyes from 2006. He was also the father of Nic Cage's character in Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. Other notable roles, of which there are many include roles in films such as Crazy Heart, The Killer Inside Me, Die Hard 2, Beverly Hills Cop II, Clear and Present Danger, and Nixon. He even had a small role as "Pop-Pop" in an episode of the hit comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Dennis and Dee Reynold's grandfather, who is revealed to have been a high-ranking Nazi Soldier.
