Tom McGowan is an American actor who is best remembered for his recurring roles in various television series such as Frasier and Everybody Loves Raymond. Born in 1959, the New Jersey native first rose to fame in the early 90s when he was stage actor on the Broadway production of La Bete. His leading role in the play earned him a Tony Award nomination and he followed that up with an Obie Award (Off Broadway Award) for his performance in the play, The Food Chain, shortly after. In addition to his roles on Frasier and Everybody Loves Raymond, McGowan has guest starred in a number of hit television shows ranging from the comedy, Sabrina, The Teenage Witch to animated series, such as King of the Hill. In 2009, McGowan returned to the stage where he began performing with various companies as The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in the theatrical version of Wicked.
