Tom and John [Schneider] had an appearance in Cincinnati that was cancelled because people thought that The Dukes of Hazzard was racist because of the Confederate flag on the roof of the General Lee.

Tom is currently facing driving while intoxicated and reckless driving charges in Ringwood, New Jersey, after hitting traffic cones and nearly colliding with a Ringwood Police car March 22, 2006.

In The Dukes of Hazzard, when it was Luke who was driving and Bo was riding shotgun, both John [Schneider] and Tom have said that it's harder climbing through the windows 'cause they weren't used to getting in on that side of the car.

It has been said that John [Schneider] considers Tom his best friend and Tom has said that he thinks of John like a brother.

He and John Schneider performed "Carryin' On" together, The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion theme song.

Tom is of Czechslovack Ancestry.

Tom attended the University Of Wisconsin in Madison.

Tom began singing and dancing in school musicals when he was 12 years old.

Tom has appeared in a video with Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn when they did "Silver Threads And Golden Needles."

Tom enjoys fishing for bass, panfish and large carp.

Tom has brown hair and blue eyes.

As of 2007, Tom is unmarried.

Tom's kids are: Lindsey, Joey, Adam, Taylor, and Walker.

Tom beat out Dennis Quaid and Gerald McRaney for the role of 'Luke Duke' on The Dukes of Hazzard.

Much like his character on The Dukes of Hazzard, Tom spent time living on a farm. He grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm with his six brothers and sisters (but no cousins or uncles).

Tom is 6'1" tall.

Tom became famous with his portrayal of the older, more mature cousin "Luke Duke" in The Dukes of Hazzard.

Tom reunited with John Schneider (Bo Duke) when he guest starred in the
Smallville episode "Exposed".
