Tony has contributed to National Doodle Day in 2008, which auctions off celebrity doodles for charity.
Tony is part of "Save Kid's TV", the campaign in the UK to stop financial pressures resulting in the end of UK production of children's TV by the commercial stations.
Along with follow Doctor, Phil Hammond, Tony was part of a comedy double-act: Struck Off and Die. They met at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
He qualified as a doctor at Guy's hospital in 1987, then as a General Practitioner in 1993, but stopped practicing in 2000 due to his involvement in My Parents Are Aliens.
Tony appeared in an OXO advert and his onscreen daughter was played by My Parents Are Aliens co-star Isabella Melling (Wendy).
