It runs in the family hide show

Tony Goldwyn is part of an important family in the American movie business. His grandfather, Samuel Goldwyn, was a film industry pioneer. His father is an important producer and his brother is the president of Paramount Studios. Tony is an actor, director and producer. He doesn’t get work only because of the family name either, he is quite good.

Tony Goldwyn is perhaps the only actor / director in motion picture history to have portrayed someone in a film and later directed that same person. In “From the Earth to the Moon” Tony played Neil Armstrong. A few years later, Tony directed the movie “A Walk on the Moon” which featured the real Neil Armstrong as a narrator. That is hard to top.
