Tony Hawk's Pro Skater has won 3 Blockbuster Awards for Favorite PlayStation, Dreamcast and GameBoy Game.

Tony has written a best selling book, HAWK: Occupation: Skateboarder.

He is in the movies Jackass: The Movie and Jackass Number Two.

In 2000 he published his autobiography, "Occupation: Skateboarder."

His all-time favorite movie is The Big Lebowski (1998).

He is considered to have the best professional skateboard record in history, entering 103 pro contests, winning 73 of them, and placing second in 19.

He was first sponsored at age 12 by the legendary Dogtown Skateboards.

On August 29, 2004, at the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards, he won the first MTV Award for "Best Video Game Soundtrack" for Tony Hawk's Underground (T.H.U.G.)

He is the first skateboarder to do 'The 900' skateboarding trick, which requires two and half turns in the air on a vert ramp. He is the first and only skateboarder to date who has successfully done this trick. He has done 'The 900' over 15 times.

He is the son of Judy and Frank Hawk. Frank Hawk started the NSA (National Skateboarding Association).

He has three sons, Spencer and Keegan with his current wife Erin. Riley, the older son is from his first marriage.

Son Hudson Riley Hawk is named after Tony Hawk's ancestor Hudson Riley who discovered the Hudson Valley. He claims that following the failure of Hudson Hawk (1991), which came out around the same time as his son's birth, they just call him Riley.

He signed a fifteen year deal with Activision, publishers of the Pro Skater series of Video Games in July 2002.
