Townsend Coleman was a disk jockey for WGCL for Cleveland, Ohio in the late 1970s. He got his start as an actor through Jerry Leonard's Heights Youth Theater ensemble. The plays were preformed Wiley Junior High School in University Heights, Ohio — just down the road from John Carroll University. Carol Keene also appeared in Jerry Leonard plays.
